A List for Autumn

Autumn is my absolute favourite season, closely followed by Winter. I love everything about it; the cosy evenings in, the spiced apple scented candles, the falling leaves, wearing wellies on walks…and everything else that this season brings.
I decided to make an Autumn-themed ‘bucket list’ of things we want to do this Autumn as a family and as a couple.
This season we want to…
  1. Go for a long walk at Wyre Forest
  2. Collect Autumn leaves, conkers and acorns to make a sensory tub for Sophia
  3. Visit Top Barn Farm in Worcester for a tractor ride and to choose a pumpkin from their Pumpkin Trail
  4. Plant our bulbs ready for Spring
  5. Make a start on our veg patch
  6. Choose an Autumn-scented candle
  7. Carve a pumpkin
  8. Make pumpkin soup and homemade rolls
  9. Make pumpkin spiced lattes to enjoy on chilly afternoons
  10. Make an Autumn garland for the fireplace
  11. Go for walks in our wellies and rain coats
  12. Go to the library to choose some Autumn books
  13. Watch fireworks, even if it’s just from the window
  14. Take Autumn pictures of Sophia
  15. Go to Bells Farm to ‘pick your own’ apples
  16. Make an apple crumble or pie
  17. Make orange play dough for Sophia
  18. Make bird feeders from pinecones
  19. Help Sophia to make handprint Autumn art
  20. Go to Bewdley on the Severn Valley Railway

Hopefully these will keep us busy in Autumn! We’ll be updating the list and taking lots of pictures along the way!
If you can think of anything else we can do in Autumn leave a comment below :)
